The love for food

Have you ever woken up one day and thought of food? I have several times. I have a love for food. My biggest goal is to become a nutritionist so I can help more and more people become healthy. Being healthy is one of the most important thing to me. If I am healthy then I feel great about myself. Here are some of the foods that I like and some reasons why I love those kinds of food.

Here is my list:

Carrots

I love carrots because they have at least most of your daily vitamin A. Vitamin A can be found mostly in dark green vegetables. Carrots are good for your brain and they are good for your eyes. So if you lack the vitamin A in your diet then that can lead to bad eye sight and this is why some people have very bad eye sight. People always say if you eat spinach it is good for your eyes, well that is true but you don't have to limit yourself to just spinach. It is not really the vegetable it is the vitamin A.

Lettuce

My favorite type of lettuce is the dark green lettuce because it has the most vitamins. Not a lot of people like the dark green lettuce so they eat the romane lettuce which is good for your brain. The dark green lettuce has vitamin A in it and it is has folic acid in it. Folic acid helps to prevent a stroke and it is good to help prevent cancer and a heart attack. You can eat lettuce with just about any meal.

Green Beans

Green beans are good in fiber vitamin C plus iron. You can cook green beans with almost every meal except breakfast. Also, I love they way that they taste and how they cook when you cook them. They are low in fat as a lot of vegetables.

I love farm fresh food and just like if any vegetable is home grown. Food is my life. I think about food a lot but I eat so little from each meals. I am the kind of person that can eat something and worry about the fat, calories, and ask does this have any vitamins in it. A lot of food I know what kind of vitamins are in a certain food. Some times when you are buying something like cheezits and they say 0% vitamins but you really have to look at the ingredient list because they list that cheezeits have B vitamins in it and with barely any fat. Usually I would never recommend buying prepackage meals because for one they always come with a lot of fat a very few vitamins in them. They were made so that hard working people can already have a home cooked meal and they don't have much to do when they get home. People don't realize the fat those meals have in them. The best thing to eat for a snack is fruit or dry cereal or cereal bars.

Melisa Joan Hart

I have been watching the show called Melissa and Joey on ABC Family and it stars Melissa Joan Hart...I remember her from some other shows like Clarissa Explains it All...I was a little too young to remember that show but I remembered watching it and playing the board game to the show. I also remember Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It is about this girl who turns 16 finding out she has magic and that she can do spells. I loved growing up watching Melissa on TV. She is just one of my favorite actresses.
Here is what Melissa and Joey is about:
The series follows local politician Mel (Melissa Joan Hart) and Joe Longo (Joey Lawrence), who Mel hires to look after her niece and nephew after a Ponzi scheme leaves him broke. Mel is a local politician from a political family. When a family scandal leaves her niece, Lennox, and nephew, Ryder, without their parents, Mel takes them in. Meanwhile, Joe is a former commodities trader left bankrupt after a Ponzi scheme who is searching for a job. So when Mel finds it hard to handle an instant family and her own life, she hires Joe to become the family's new male nanny, or "manny".
The series first aired on August 17,2010 and season one hasn't even finished yet but season one returns with all new episodes on June 29, 2011. To find out more about Melissa and Joey just click on this link SOURCE

New Post and a tv show close to home

This is my new blog I will talk about things happening in my life. I will talk about all kinds of things like movies, music, books, and shows.
I am really interested in a show on the abcfamily called Swithed at Birth.
I was surprised when I heard that the show's location was in my home city and in Mission Kansas where I don't live far from there. I am still trying to figure out why they would pick my city of all places when people hardly talk about Kansas city! Kansas city is not a famous city but we are known for a lot of famous stuff. Here is what the show is about:

Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano) is an artistic teenager being raised by her stay-at-home mom Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and former professional baseball player father John (D. W. Moffett), in a wealthy neighborhood in Mission Hills, Kansas along with her brother Toby (Lucas Grabeel). After studying blood types in school, Bay begins to investigate why her blood type does not match her parents. When the family gets genetic testing done and confirms that Bay is not biologically related to the parents who have raised her, they discover the hospital mistakenly switched her with another newborn. Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc), a deaf teen living with her struggling single mother Regina (Constance Marie) and grandmother in a working class neighborhood in Riverside, Missouri. A case of meningitis caused Daphne to lose her hearing as a child, so she attends a deaf and hard of hearing school where she plays basketball.
When the two families meet, the girls toil with their identities as Bay relates to her birth mother's artistic abilities and Daphne is drawn to John's athletic skills, as well as the family's friendly demeanor. The Kennishes learn that Regina is facing financial woes and propose the Vasquezes move into their guest home. The new living situation forces the girls, along with both families, to understand their differences and embrace their similarities.
Deaf advocate Marlee Matlin plays a friend of Regina's and the mother of Emmett (Sean Berdy), Daphne's best friend and a deaf schoolmate.
